We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help us make a meaningful impact in the lives of cancer patients. In addition to volunteer drivers, we need talented individuals in the following areas:

Customer Support: Assist our patients and community with questions and resources
Distribution Coordinators: Help manage and distribute essential supplies to patients

Taxes and Your Donations
In December 2017, the United States Congress enacted a new tax bill that introduced significant changes to tax provisions for 2018 and beyond. One major change is the nearly doubled standard tax deduction for most filers, making it a more appealing option for many Americans. However, the law continues to allow donors to value their donations and potentially deduct them if they choose to itemize their taxes.

When you donate items to Harmony Healing Foundation, our donation attendant will provide you with a receipt. Be sure to keep this receipt for your records. If you choose to itemize deductions on your tax return, you may claim a deduction for clothing, household items, or other contributions in good condition.
The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires that you assign a fair market value to your donations when filing your tax return. To assist you, we recommend referencing a donation valuation guide that provides estimated values for commonly donated items.
